Poem: How Long Can You Tread Water?

Poem created in response to Robert Lee Brewer’s 2011 April PAD Challenge: Day 17, 17 Apr 2011.

(Form:  Fibonacci)

How Long Can You Tread Water?

The
Big
Picture?
The Golden
Rule is tarnishing
rapidly. People just don’t care
’bout anyone, but themselves and (maybe) their family;
Cut you off on the road, stab you in the back at work,
lie, cheat, leech off society.
Hope those people can
tread water
when the
rains
come.

    Nicely said. And sadly true. 😉
