(form: triolet)

Slave to the Grind

Day in, day out, a slave to the grind
for the paying of the bills, bills, bills
to me, fortune’s eye is turned and blind
Day in, day out, a slave to the grind
a second job I might have to find
less time at home, the thought gives me chills
Day in, day out, a slave to the grind
for the paying of the bills, Bills, BILLS!
