Poem: A Feast for My Eyes

Poem created in response to Robert Lee Brewer’s 2011 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 17, 17 Nov 2011.  Topic: A poem that reveals something

(form: fibonacci)

A Feast for My Eyes

A
slow,
pulsing,
sensual,
exposure of flesh,
an erotic feast for my eyes,
as she coyly pulls off gloves, pushes straps off shoulders.
Writhing slightly, the dress slinks past the swell of her hips,
pools on the floor.  She steps to me.
I rise to meet her,
revealing
my love
for
her.
Note:  Usually, I only have one line with 13 syllables, but I thought the shape more fitting for this poem using two of those.
