Poem: a Haiku about Sandy Hook

My olde daughter came home today and told us that she had to write a Haiku about the incident at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  While we aren’t really sure about the reasoning behind this, I came up with this one while she worked on hers.

sun lit little leaves
frolic and dance on the breeze
blown away too soon
