Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

If you have any interest in George R. R. Martin or his work, this is a pretty cool book so far. He’s broken the book up into sections and put “forewards” in front of each section so we get to learn about his writing background as we move through the stories.

I’m not very far into it yet. I really like Martin’s “forewards” where he sets up each section because we get to hear his take on what he was doing/had to do to get published. I’ve now read two of his early sci-fi stories and they were both well done.
