Teaser Tuesday: Rose Madder (again)

Teaser Tuesday post for 24 June 2014:

Rose Madder by Stephen KingThe way he was looking at her hit that hot-button again, but this time it was more attractive than scary. She was suddenly struck by an urge –comical, but amazingly strong, nevertheless–to put her arms around him…and her legs…and then simply climb him like a tree.

from “Rose Madder” by Stephen King

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I’ll bet you didn’t have any problem finding lots of good Teasers in this book. I love “climb him like a tree.” Good Teaser (and so descriptive).
My Teaser is from NOT THE MARRYING KIND.

On the page I took this Teaser from, I had another great pair of sentences. I decided to go with the less ominous ones.
