Teaser Tuesday post for 27 January 2015
from ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King
And in the awful heavy silence of the house, as he sat impotently on his bed with his face in his hands, he heard the high, sweet, evil laugh of a child -- --and then the sucking sounds.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Salem’s Lot was the first Stephen King book/adult horror story I ever read – up until then it had been all R L Stine and Point Horror 🙂
Yeah…not a fan of the horror genre, but hope you enjoy it. Mine: A Passage to India
I love this book! It was the first Stephen King book I ever read. I like the old tv movie, the one with David Soul. Not as impressed with the newer movie version.
Mine this week is from Terminal Freeze by Lincoln Child: http://wp.me/pZnGI-hW
I just read yesterday the only two scenes I really remember from the old movie. Those two were very much like the book. I have to go find it and watch it now.
My Goodness. This is three blogs in a row where I’ve encountered old book friends. At one time Stephen King and Dean Koontz were my main reading choices. Don’t read much horror these days but I remember Salem’s Lot (shivers) Thanks for the memory. 🙂
My TT is here: Teaser Tuesday
Stephen King is my favorite author. I also like Koontz and Dan Simmons for horror.
One of the best of King’s. I think I should reread this. Mine’s at http://suziequint.blogspot.com/
