Teaser Tuesday post for 1 December 2015
from Creating Characters Kids Will Love by Elaine Marie Alphin
From the jumble of believable emotions, let a pattern emerge that shows a character's progress from the beginning of your story through to the end. If you use specific details to show these emotions in your characters, readers will take the boys and girls of your imagination into their hearts and will care deeply about what happens to them.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:• Grab your current read • Open to a random page • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I’m playing (with a giveaway) at Beth Fish Reads
Very true. My teaser is from an historical fiction novel by Philippa Gregory: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-12O

My Tuesday post features the Rawhide ‘n Roses anthology.
This sounds good for writers. I think I’ll remain a contented consumer of fiction instead. My teaser this week comes from Secret Sisters by Jayne Ann Krentz. Happy reading!
