Teaser Tuesday: Lisey’s Story (one more time)

Teaser Tuesday post for 16 February 2016
from Lisey’s Story by Stephen King

Lisey walked to the stairs, dripping dark drops on some of the places where she'd bled.  The wrap of the african slipped down to her hips and became skirtlike, exotic, even a little sexy.

This one I haven’t read yet – something I need to remedy!

When I read Lisey’s Story, I was surprised at how it stayed with me for days afterward. I thought I hadn’t liked it, but it just stuck. How are you liking it? My Teaser is from Bitter Bite by Jennifer Estep

It’s not going to be in my favorite’s list of his work, but I liked it. It’s kind of neat that he created a “world” to explain where folks go who zone-out or have catatonic episodes. Maybe there’s something to what he wrote as to why they do or don’t come back.

I’ve only ever read one Stephen King (Misery) many, many years ago. I did enjoy it so don’t know why I haven’t read any others. Must go look some out.

I’ve never read Stephen King and maybe it’s time I did. I’m not sure this is the one I’d start with but I do like your teaser. Here’s my link from a mystery that takes place at the beginning of the 1920s, The Jazz Files: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1bS

I just started watching 11.22.63 which has made me appreciate his writing again — I’ve not heard of this one before though!
