Teaser Tuesday post for 25 October 2016
from Decision Points by George W. Bush

Just before entering the doors, they turned to face the crowd and lifted the coffin for a last time.  As they did, the clouds parted and the sun shined through onto the simple wooden box.

Teaser Tuesday logoTeaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB (Jenn) at Books and a Beat. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:• Grab your current read • Open to a random page • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

LOL So do I! It stalled me. Still not sure which it should be. I’d probably not pick up this book, but you never know. Curiosity and all:)

So far, it’s kind of interesting. It’s not just a chronological auto-bio. The chapters are all on different decisions he had to make, some prior to even running for President.

I rarely read nonfiction so this book doesn’t appeal to me, though it probably could be interesting.
My writing group has discussed “shone versus shined” and we have decided to use whichever one sounds right to each of us at the time. I’m not sure there’s a hard and fast rule.
My Tuesday post features THREE WEEKS WITH MY BROTHER.
